About The Pelican Inn
The
Pelican is a 17th century inn and has recently undergone a major
transformation and refurbishment. Foremost Pelican Inn is a nice
friendly pub where you can feel relaxed just having a drink. On
top of this it offers excellent accomodation and food. There is
a large restaurant, with a superb choice of food and traditional
roasts on Sunday. There are facilities for the disabled, two large
carparks and a large garden featuring a duck pond.

The Pelican Inn is a Just off the A4 in peaceful countryside
within easy reach of M4 J14 and the Kennet & Avon canal. It
lies almost on the Wiltshire/Berkshire border. Both Hungerford (two
miles away) and Marlborough (7 miles away) are within easy reach.
Hungerford is renowned for it's antique shops and Marlborough has
the widest high street in the country. There are also several battlefields
in the area and the standing stones of Avebury and Stonehenge are
only a short drive away.
