The Swan Hotel Bedford
The Swan Hotel was originally built for the 5th Duke
of Bedford in 1794 and lies in the centre of Bedford overlooking
the Ouse. The hotel has 110 bedrooms; and 8 conference, training
and function rooms - which can cater for up to 250 guests or delegates.
One feature that is well worth mentioning; is the 'Roman Style Bath
and Leisure Pool' which is complimentary to guest during their stay
at the hotel.

The Swan Hotel is licenced for civil ceremonies and
the cost of room hire for such events depends on whether the reception
is going to be held at the hotel. Wedding receptions are usually
accommodated in the Coach Room and the State Room which can both
easily cater for 250 guests.
I'm afraid that the photograph of the exterior of
the Swan Hotel was taken on a very dismall evening in November and
doesn't do the hotel justice.
