Picton Castle, Haverford West.
Picton Castle is located just outside Haverford West
and was built in the 13th Century by Sir John Wogan. The present
owners are his descendants and carry the name of Philipps. The castle
is still very much a home but still manages to retain it's medeaval
features. The main rooms were redesigned in the 1750s by Sir John
Philipps with plastered rooms and fireplaces by Sir Henry Cheere.
There are 40 acres of Woodland Gardens, a shop, restaurant and an
art gallery all of which are open to visitors.

Picton Castle is the ideal venue for day conferences, parties and
weddings. The hotel is set in the heart of Pembrokeshire and is only
three miles from the county town of Haverfordwest and two miles south
of the A40. Picton Castle has a purpose built tiered Lecture Theatre,
and is gaining a great deal of popularity as a conference and business
centre. Each conference can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
