Situated in a prominent position on London Road, Grub
is a family run cafe-bar open seven days a week serving simple,
delicious cuisine. Grub prides itself on sourcing the best quality
local produce for its menu. This enables the use of fresh products
that do not contain additives, preservatives or flavourings, recreating
the quality of home cooked food.
In the evening Grub offers a unique experience for those in East
Grinstead. The lounge-bar atmosphere provides seating for 40 covers
and is complemented by a central area of three large leather sofas
ideal for catching up with friends. Parents stop by while their
children are at after school activities, commuters drop in on their
way home, others pop in for food before visiting the cinema and
those who simply don't want to cook visit for something different
to a takeaway. Our menu offers the chance to eat out without it
being too formal. They are relaxed and casual so you can be too!

Saturday nights are brought
alive with acoustic live music every week (free admission).
Once a month open-mic sessions provide a platform for local
singer songwriters to showcase their talent. Round off the
week with our Sunday all day breakfasts as well as the usual
menu.
Grub can be hired free of charge for events
and parties. Examples already catered for include: birthdays,
corporate celebrations, family gatherings, product launches
& even a wedding reception! There is no charge for hire
on the condition that you book catering for a minimum of 20
people (min £7 per head). They can organise a live band,
DJ, late license & extras such as flowers, balloons, cake..
they have even had a belly dancer! Whatever your event requires.
