Blake Hall.
Blake Hall is owned and maintained by the Capel Cure
family and is set in 25 acres of beautiful gardens. The gardens
feature many attractions including: a sunken garden, herbaceous
border, wild areas, tropical house, rose garden, ice house, arboretum
and a duck pond. Also, guests are invited to picnic within the peaceful
surroundings.

Other
features at the Hall are: Tropical House with which contains plants
from Africa, The Caribbean, Central America and The Middle and Far
East; and the ever popular RAF Museum.

Although
Blake Hall is famous for its beautiful house and gardens - it is
the Essex Barn that is used for most events and weddings. The Essex
Barn was built during the English Civil War in 1642 and demostrates
the superb craftmanship of that period. You cannot help but be impressed
by the dowelled roof joints - especially when one considers the
tools they had at their disposal.The Essex Barn is licenced for
wedding ceremonies and can provide first class catering facilities.

Blake Hall cater for corporate events, garden parties,
promotions, and host, among others, The Essex Craft, Country and
Classic Car Shows. They are always happy to discuss your requirements
and work around you. When I last played the piano for an event at
Blake Hall I couldn't help but notice how accomodating and helpful
the staff were.
Blake Hall is approximately twenty minutes from the
M25 and 10 minutes from the M11.
